Records about Danny from William "Buckles" Woodcocks Blog at http://www.bucklesw.blogspot.com/
Letter from Bill Woodcock Sr. (4/8/63) to Joe Bradbury
"In 1930 we played Utica NY with the Floto Show and after the bulls were loaded we walked a short distance to the lot of the Otis L. Smith Carnival.
They had an animal show or menagerie with three elephants "Mom", "Danny" and "Eva" acquired from Floyd Kings defunct Cole Bros. Circus, the last two did an act in a roped off area as a free act. They were presented by Joe Secastin and Smiths daughter Maybelle and later appeared in Vaudeville billed as "Maybelle"s Elephants". //Buckles Web Log, "Danny" and "Eva"

"In response to Bill Schreiber, they did indeed have a male elephant on the Wallace Show. This is "Danny" a former Corporation Tusker that was on the show in 1937-38 when they were still using the Barnett title. He tried to tear up the show in 1938, as those males have been known to do and was hustled off to the Pittsburgh Zoo. The man at left wearing the boots is an old timer named Tommy "Daddy" Burns." //Buckles Web Log, Barnett Bros. Circus 1937/ "Danny"
