Ambika
Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) at
Smithsonian National Zoological Park Washington in United States

Ambika was born wild 1948.

Ambika came to the National Zoo in 1961 as a gift from the children of India.

Ambika have a cyst that caused some bleeding but is has been resolved for several years now.

In 2010, 62 year old Ambika weighed 7800 pounds.
