1927: in Frankfurt, the Asian elephant Katschie refused to enter her transport wagon on the central station, and run around in the forest close to the city. With the assistance of 200 police officers the Krone staff managed to tie her to a tree, and after fetching another elephant, managed to bring her back to the station and the transport wagon.
