Unconfirmed relocation date:

"During the event, Dr Xavier also announced the successful relocations of Lasah, a 37-year-old male Asian elephant, and a Malayan tiger named Zanah from their former home at the now closed-down Langkawi Elephant Adventures.

Lasah became a cause celebre since animal rights NGO Friends of the Orangutan published photos of him with his chained leg in 2016.

He has since been relocated to the Kuala Gandah National Elephant Conservation Centre in Pahang.
