Zoo Osnabrück write on their website that Toni came from Circus Althoff: Ein Höhepunkt war die Ankunft unseres ersten Elefanten: Wir übernahmen vom Zirkus Althoff in den 60er Jahren die Elefantenkuh Toni, die wir über den Heger-Tor-Wall und die Iburgerstraße bis in den Zoo führten.“ Reinhard Coppenrath
