2014-12: Fathima Beevi (49), the lone elephant from a mosque that is attached to Nagore Dargah, could not be here this year as veterinarians had certified it as unfit to travel.

2015-12-17: Hundreds of people mourned the demise of Fathima Beevi (46) the elephant that was doing service at the Nagore Andavar Dargah at Nagore in Nagapattinam district. The pachyderm died on Tuesday night after battling chronic illness for close to a year now.
