Sven Vilhelm Elias Borg , zoo elephant head-keeper in Sweden Born 1907-09-22 in Sweden dead 1998-06-19 in Sweden . Borg was educated by the elephant keepers Fritz Theisinger and Hugo Schmitt at Hagenbecks Tierpark in Hamburg, Germany, and was responsible for Skansens elephants from 1932 to 1975. Until 1956 he also provided elephant rides for children at Skansen. His son Sven-Arne Borg was often assisting his father from early age.
