Livio Togni , circus director in Italy Born 1950-10-28 in Italy , son of director Darix Togni . In April 1990, in Bois de Boulogne in Paris, Darix children Livio Togni (b.1950) and his brothers inaugurated Il Florilegio di Darix Togni. A member of the Togni circus family , he soon began a career as a circus entrepreneur. In the seventies he produced the "Circo Jumbo", whose scenographic dimensions and the great use of men and means immediately guaranteed him international fame and success. Since the death of his father Darix (in 1976), he has been at the helm of the "Circo Darix Togni" flanked by his brothers Corrado and Davio . For decades, with the tours of his circus he introduced the world to the circus art of the Togni. He has produced a series of shows ("Casanovas circus", "Le Comedie Vagabonde", "Il Circo Maccheroni", "The Circus of the Animals") and entertainment parks ("Family Park", "Yoyo Park"). The most famous and later the most imitated production was born in 1990, "Il Florilegio", a show still on tour and successful. He is a founding member of the "Italian Circus Academy" and promoter of foundations and study centers that deal with entertainment. In 2001 , on the occasion of the political elections , Togni entered Parliament, elected independent Senator in the lists of the Rifondazione Comunista in Emilia-Romagna, precisely in the college of Fidenza, where he obtained 6.4% of the votes. He soon passes through the ranks of the Mixed Group . In the Senate he will be part of the Commission for Public Education and Cultural Heritage until the end of the Legislature (2006). He is the father of four children: Max Togni, Steve Togni, Amanda Togni and Andreina Togni.
