Lived in Beatrice, NB. Willard operated a traveling circus performance company, and traveled throughout the US with his elephant Rosa/Rosie. He was born Feb. 8, 1922, at DeWitt, Neb. He served in the United States Army/Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Beatrice; the Veterans of Foreign War Post 1077, Bitting-Norman Post 27 of the American Legion, and the Eagles Aerie 531, all of Beatrice.
