Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located at Private Bag, in Nanyuki, Kenya .

Comments / picturesOl Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy in the foothills of Mount Kenya incorporating Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees.

There is currently 300 square kilometers available to elephant and although this area is totally fenced theres 3 game corridors open for migratory Species such as elephant.

The elephant population varies but is currently around 250 individuals. Half of these animals are resident and the rest follow historical migratory routs north into the Laikipia.

If calves are found to be in need of hand rearing they are given to the Sheldrick wildlife trust.
