While being prepared for riding with howdah, Babe hurled Raddatz to the ground by a blow from the trunk, knelt upon him and tusked him three times. † Michael Raddatz Died 1914-06-16, Toledo Zoo. Raddatz were terribly crushed, and died within half an hour at hospital.
