Kenyir Elephant Village (KEV), is a state government project in the Kenyir Lake tourism area aimed at drawing more tourists to Terengganu. State Economic Planning Unit Kenyir Lake Development Division manager Tengku Mohd Ariffin Tengku Abdul Rahman said the project, which began in 2012 on a 256-hectare site, would have 30 elephants when fully completed.

2014-02: 7 elephants, sourced from the Wildlife & National Parks Dept., have been placed at Kenyir Elephant Village in order to attract tourists to Terengganu.
