Comments / pictures Elephant hunter, elephant trainer and a respectful chieftain who founded Don Village and in 1861 gifted a white elephant tp the Ling of Thailand, who as a honor reward gave him the title Khunjunob which means King of Elephant Hunters.
A year after his death, in 1939, his nephew R’leo Knul , who took over as chief of the village, held the ceremony of 'grave abandoning' and had a tomb built for him in the M'Nong-Laos architectural style. The tomb of R'Leo Knul himself lies next to his uncle\'s tomb.References for records about N’Thu K’nul (Khunjunob)
