Elephas

The genus Elephas, belongs to the family of elephants, elephantidae, and was named by Linnaeus 1758.

    • Elephas melitensis Malta dwarf elephant - (species, extinct +).
    • Elephas namadicus - (species, extinct +).
    • Elephas planifrons - (species, extinct +).
