Aranya was born wild 2009, captured 2009 , captured at near Jaldhaka river.
According to officials, the baby elephant, believed to be separated from its herd, was unfed and sick when it was first spotted near a riverside. Aranya was rescued by the wildlife workers from near Jaldhaka river in northern part of the state.
