Noi (Surus) was born wild at India unspecified location.
Surus was given to Salvador Dali by Air India, and may have been kept for a while in Figueras (Dali's hometownand he came to the Barcelona zoo on October 1971. He stayed there until his permanent home in Valencia was finished. In Valencia he was renamed Noi.
