Balasundar arrived in 2012-06-00 to the Dudhwa elephant base camp (Dudhwa National Park), relocated from the Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary (WLS camp), in India.

Balasundar was born wild 2007 at Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary, captured 2007 , captured at at the banks of the Balasun river.
Balasundar was brought to the park at the age of 10 days, he was rescued from the banks of the Balasun river in 2007.
