Yekti was born wild ~2013 at Way Kambas national park (WKNP), captured 2013-04-01 , captured at Lampung.
2013: Rescued from the wild with a serious wire snare injury to her front left leg. 2016: Yekti contracted Elephant Herpes in Mid October and has been critically ill but recovered. She caught the virus from Pepi, who died 15 October 2016.
