On the morning of 9 May, 2018, the Southern Elephant Hospital at Krabi had visited Pang Nong Lek. She was lethargic and had no strength in her back legs, and had not been sleeping. She was found in the morning unable to get up, our veterinarians rushed over to the elephant, provided treatment and watched as she finally had the strength to stand. She will be closely monitored.
