Sheeba was said to be a former Circus elephant donated to Manila Zoo when it went bankrupt. Some old timers may recognize her as the star of the 80's Salem Bed TVC. Her keepers and vet called her "The Gentle Giantess", and as seen in some of these photos, that she was. She'd allow her keeper to climb up and sit on her back. At times, she would curl her Trunk and let the keepers sit on it while she rocks him back and forth like a mother cradling her child.
